In an announcement that may seem awfully familiar because we always here about about it – Noel Gallagher has announced that he has quit Oasis.
In a statement that he posted on the official Oasis web site, Noel Gallagher said that he has decided to leave the band after getting tired of the well publicized animosity and trouble relationship with his brother, Oasis vocalist Liam Gallagher. More »
The Verve had a big chance to make it big almost ten years ago, but the band imploded because of infighting. After reforming in 2007 and releasing its critically well reviewed fourth album Forth, The Verve has broken up again.
This is actually the third time The Verve has disbanded in its 13-year existence. The Daily Mirror reported that guitarist Nick McCabe and Bassist Simon Jones considers The Verve as no more. They think that the reunion was only used by eccentric vocalist Richard Ashcroft to boost his solo career. More »
