Christmas with the Chipmunks Try Presta if an Issue
My favorite Christmas album EVER – that’s what this one is. Okay, so I know those are strong words, but there are no words strong enough to express how totally awesome my favorite Christmas album is. This is the album that my sister and brother and I used to dance around the tree to – the album that we sang along to in mock concerts. This album changed my life, in that I share it with my children today and it is still just as fresh, as intoxicating, and as rockin’ as it was when I was a little girl. What Christmas album am I speaking of? Well, for those of you who haven’t already figured it out (and I truly feel for you), this best Christmas music album EVER is none other than The Chipmunk’s “Christmas with the Chipmunks.” Here’s why . . .

Those charming high-pitched voices. There is no sound more ethereal (or playfully endearing) during the holiday season than those sweet, helium-like voices singing in harmony. No matter what your age – from the tiniest toddler to the most world-worn adult – I just dare you to listen to this album without cracking a smile.
The novelty. What is more delightful than the thought of a trio of fuzzy woodland creatures serenading us with catchy Christmas carols? And who hasn’t seen an episode of The Chipmunks cartoon and fallen in love with those cute, precocious little guys? Sure, Bing Crosby singing “White Christmas” is great, but he just doesn’t hold a candle to three singing, dancing rodents, does he?
The best Christmas song EVER. The Christmas with the Chipmunks album just happens to feature a beloved classic that, if you ask me, takes the cake in any best Christmas song ever competition. Of course, this song is “The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don’t Be Late).” This song was actually written in 1958 by Ross Bagdasarian, and was an instant hit. There is no doubt it’s an infectious tune, made even more memorable by those lovable chipmunk voices.
Variety. Not only do you get the original Chipmunk Song on this great Christmas album, but you also get a great collection of classic Christmas stand-bys, sung as only the chipmunks can sing. These include “Silver Bells,” “Jingle Bells,” “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Frosty the Snowman,” and so much more – twelve songs, to be exact.
