Julian Casablancas’ debut gets release date

The Strokes has not released a new album since 2006’s First Impressions of Earth, and even with the band announcing in different online and print publications this year that they are ready to record material for their fourth album, no firm release date has been set.

What did get a date is Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas‘ debut album. Phrazes for The Young will drop October 19 in the UK. The US release date will be a day after.

Casablancas’ solo effort will tide us over until the new Strokes album arrives.
