Noel Gallagher announces split with Oasis

In an announcement that may seem awfully familiar because we always here about about it – Noel Gallagher has announced that he has quit Oasis.

In a statement that he posted on the official Oasis web  site, Noel Gallagher said that he has decided to leave the band after getting tired of the well publicized animosity and trouble relationship with his brother, Oasis vocalist Liam Gallagher.

Noel’s full statement reads:

“It’s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.

“Apologies to all the people who bought tickets for the shows in Paris, Konstanz, and Milan.”

The apology is for the supposedly cancelled concert tour dates in the said cities.

This not the first time that Noel has announced that he has left Oasis. He walked out of the band during a show in Paris in 2000 and also during the band’s American tour in the mid-90’s.

Do you guys think that this is finally the last curtain call for Noel and Oasis?
